About:

Cara Pelletier grew up in central Pennsylvania. She has worked for Hershey Entertainment & Resorts for fifteen years. and was given the opportunity at a young age to assist with wine service in the four diamond restaurant, The Circular Dining Room at the Hotel Hershey. She fell in love with the experience and the opportunity to continue learning and had a wonderful mentor, Raymond Consoli who is the full time sommelier at this restaurant. Within the past year and a half, Cara decided to take her passion for wine and make it a career. During this time, she wanted to challenge myself in starting up the Court of Sommeliers ladder. This past summer she passed the Certified Sommelier exam. Also a longtime mixologist, she plans to prepare for her Certified Specialist of Spirits exam. Continuing her education with the Cicerone organization is also one of her goals as a craft beer lover. Cara has accepted a seasonal position to work under the award nominated wine director, Andrew Shaffner at Telluride Ski Resort for the 2016-2017 season. During this time, she plans to work diligently to expand my wine knowledge and tasting while building her experience as a floor sommelier in a beautiful location. She look forward to lie the foundation for my advanced sommelier certification. In her free time, Cara enjoys spending time with her five dogs. She also enjoys travel, especially to Caribbean locations.
