Growing up in Monterey, CA, the restaurant industry has always been a major part of Christopher's life. His dad has owned a restaurant since he was young. Christopher would spend most of his time after school there, waiting for his mom to get off work. He began bartending there during his summers back from college. At first, he had no idea what he was doing, but armed with an iPhone and an old Mr. Boston’s, Christopher learned quickly and fell in love with it. He was obsessed with studying and would read anything he could find on beer, wine, spirits and cocktails. He eventually moved to Tucson with his fiancé, where he joined the JW Marriott as a restaurant supervisor.
Christopher is now the Beverage Manager for the resort, a job that he loves because he has more freedom than ever before to explore and implement new ideas. He cannot wait to bring back the experience of SommCon to my team and colleagues.
When he is not working, Christopher loves to hike, try new food, and root for his Bay Area sport teams.
