Molly Brooks-Thornton is a native San Diegan who earned a BA in history from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA and a MA in history from San Diego State University before deciding to turn her passion for learning towards wine, beer, and hospitality. She coordinated the beer and wine list at the Barrel Room in San Diego before joining the Banker’s Hill Team as Manager, Sommelier and Cicerone. She is also co-owner of The Homebrewer and Home Brewing Co., a homebrewing supply shop and brewery that her husband, George, operates.
Thirsty for knowledge, she continues her studies of wine, beer, and spirits. Together with George, Molly constantly looks for learning opportunities in travels abroad and at home to enrich her understanding of the realm of food and beverage, and beyond.
