Nicole Sanchez, a graduate of Auburn University’s Hospitality Program, moved to Napa from her home state of New York in February of 2016. This move was driven by her dream of working in the Napa Valley, along with her desire to explore another side of the hospitality industry. Nicole began working at Trinchero Napa Valley in St. Helena where she is a Wine Ambassador and as her co-workers refer to her - the “resident sommelier”. Before relocating to Napa Valley, Nicole was a Sommelier in Albany, New York, where she worked with Advanced Sommelier, Dominick Purnomo at Yono’s Restaurant. During her time in college, Nicole worked at Springhouse Restaurant in Alexander City, Alabama. To date, Nicole has received her Certified Sommelier, Certified Specialist in Wine, and Certified Specialist in Spirits. Currently Nicole is studying for her Certified Wine Educator and her Advanced Sommelier.
