Seminar Description

Based on the research, and peer-reviewed by, Dr. Patrick McGovern, world-renowned ethno-botanist and the world's leading authority on ancient wine. From vitis ampelopsis 200 million years ago, the modern grapevine has evolved to become the source for the most important beverage on earth. A light-hearted but pro-reviewed TED-talk style romp through the history of wine, with stops in Armenia, trans-Caucasia, Canaan, Egypt, Etrusca, Greece, Rome, Gutenberg (first printing press was a recycled wine press), to Pasteur.
