Seminar DescriptionThis session will discuss “what to expect” when competing in a wine competition for sommeliers.” The panel will consist of judges and past winners of competitions such as the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Best young Sommelier, Top Somm and Best New Somm. Panelists will discuss what's involved in preparing for the competition. We will also have live examples with a mock competitor going through the competition exercise of rapid-fire questions, food matching, service and blind tasting.
