2026 Scholarship Application
Applications for SommCon in Washington, D.C. will be accepted until March 29th, 2026.
There are two scholarship opportunities available at SommCon. Please read carefully before beginning the application. You may only select one scholarship to which you may apply:
Emerging Leaders Scholarship:
The Emerging Leaders Scholarship is open to new professionals in the beverage industry who are looking to grow, network, and seek mentorship. Recipients will network with today’s greatest wine professionals and thought leaders. They will have the opportunity to grow their knowledge and develop their palate as they participate in tastings, panel discussions, and keynote presentations throughout the conference.
Professional Merit Scholarship:
The Professional Merit Scholarship is available to all professionals and is awarded based on financial need, commitment to the industry, and personal development.
All scholarships are awarded by way of complimentary conference registration. Scholarship recipients are responsible for their own travel expenses and accommodations to attend.
IMPORTANT: Please give thoughtful responses below. Your application will be sent (as it is written) to the SommCon Scholarship & Mentorship Committee for review and selection. The SommCon Advisory Board will make the final selection and recipient(s) will be notified via email.
Additionally, please note that previous scholarship winners are not eligible to reapply.
