Billie Harris, Vinologist, is the Founder of “The Vino Van”, an Atlanta based wine tour company that takes guests to North Georgia’s Wine Country on fun and educational excursions. She is also the Founder of “Goodness In A Glass”, a wine education focused concept that consists of unique and informative WINE101 & Beyond tasting classes, wine pairing dinners, and industry collaborations. She has studied wine for over 10yrs and holds a WSET2 Certification with Merit. Over the span of her career, she has acquired several achievements to include the McBride Sister’s SHE CAN 2019 Scholarship, Comcast RISE Grant for Minority Businesses, USA Today’s 10Best 2020 and 2022 Reader’s Choice in travel “Best Wine Tour Company”, Gusto Impact Award Finalist, Finger Lakes Wine Alliance Riesling Camp participant, and The Hue Society Award for 2024 Wine Tour-Guide of the Year. Billie is a member and Vice President of The Sweet Auburn Chapter of The Hue Society, member of The Sommelier Guild of Atlanta, and Women In Wine Atlanta. She is also an avid philanthropist and 11yr member, former Arts & Culture Chair, and Newsletter Editor of The Atlanta Woman’s Club where she supports and volunteers with local community non-profits, many with missions that encourage the advancement of women in our society. Billie is a Mississippi native, and currently resides in Atlanta with her husband and 4 children.
