Nicole Ramée born and raised in Lambertville, New Jersey. What inspired her to get into the wine industry was by accident. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology she moved home in hopes of starting her own sustainable clothing line. She never would have thought bartending at Nektar Wine Bar in New Hope Pennsylvania would open her eyes to a new career path. In 2019 she ventured to New York City to work for Danny Meyer, Union Square Hospitality Group. Being a part of the opening team of Intersect by Lexus as a server assistant. In October of that year she enrolled in the Intensive Sommelier Program at the International Culinary Center. Where she achieved her Certified Sommelier certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers. Shortly after the beginning of 2020, she has since moved to Washington D.C. where she has not only worked at multiple Michelin Star restaurants such as Xiquet by Danny Lledo, where in 2022 she was awarded sommelier of the year through Michelin and Wine Access. And is currently the sommelier at Pineapple and Pearls.
