Designed to spotlight quality and connect exceptional producers with beverage trade professionals, the annual competition series is judged by a panel of respected sommeliers, buyers, educators, importers, and media. All entries are judged blind and evaluated on quality, style, and category distinction.
As part of the broader SommCon Conference & Beverage Expo, medalists receive recognition at the SommCon Beverage Expo and are poured for industry professionals at the exclusive Winners Circle Tasting. They are also featured across SommCon’s national trade marketing channels and partner publications, The SOMM Journal and Tasting Panel Magazine.
