I was born and raised in The Bronx, New York and moved to Las Vegas in 2017 to flourish in my bartending and hospitality career. I have always expressed interest in wine and had very basic knowledge of it due to my various server jobs in several styles of restaurants. It was not until 2020 that I decided to deep dive into the world of oenology and take the WSET 2 course and became enamored with viticulture and viniculture. I soon after took the WSET 3 course and then pursued testing through the Court of Master Sommeliers where I received both my Intro and Certified certifications. Throughout this time, wine was beginning to become a new passion for me and I knew at this point that my career would soon take a drastic turn for the better. Currently, I work at Brezza at Resort’s World Las Vegas as a sommelier where I try to encourage growth in my guests through wine tasting, and this journey has been nothing but rewarding.
