Erika Benfield is a wine enthusiast that founded Frederick’s Wine Room in North Central Florida, the first wine shop in the city named after Frederick S. DeBary, the original importer of G.H. Mumm Champagne in the 1880’s to America. Erika understands the business sector due to owning an American Made- Goods retail business of interior design furnishings, serving on Volusia County economic board and chambers of commerce. Erika is a current Leadership Trust member of NFIB, National Federation of Independent Business owners and former vice mayor of the city of DeBary. Erika Benfield received the “Key to the City” in 2020 and continues to serve on volunteer advisory boards. The love for wine blossomed while serving on wine taste fundraisers for her community over the past decade.

Erika is a mom of four and dog mom to Prince, German Shepherd adopted in 2022. Married to Paul Benfield for 19 years. Erika is new to the wine retailer world and in one year has built relationships with several distributors and vendors. Her shop features American and Italian machines to provide the best experience for the patrons that like her are interested in the world of fine wines.
