It was upon moving from Seattle to the Bay Area that she discovered a deep fascination with wine and a community who shared and nurtured that obsession. In 2019, Ingrid began attending the San Francisco Wine School where she has since earned the titles of Certified Specialist of Wine, Italian Wine Scholar, and California Wine Appellation Specialist.
Ingrid’s primary passion is exploring the alchemy of food & wine pairing. As a wine educator, she ‘preaches the gospel of the grape’ to nonbelievers and novices alike, promising there’s a place for everyone in ‘wine appreciation’ despite cultural, gender, generational, or class barriers. In her work with In Good Taste, she loves curating custom wine appreciation experiences and expanding people’s palates and minds through creating fun, non-intimidating educational adventures in wine exploration.
