Ruth Tobias is the managing editor of The Tasting Panel and The SOMM Journal, where she works closely with publisher/editor-in-chief Meridith May to oversee all aspects of production. Prior to joining the magazines, she worked as a freelance food and beverage writer for 20 years. She lives in Denver, Colorado.
