This year SommCon® kicked off the 17th annual San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival weekend with Concours d’Spirits, presented in partnership with The SOMM Journal and Tasting Panel Magazine.
This esteemed spirits competition featured a judging panel filled with incredible beverage industry leaders, including Masters of Wine and professional sommeliers with world-renowned palates.
The JULEP Venue played host to the annual competition where national and international spirits were put to the test in a blind tasting format. Accolades including Double Gold, Gold, Silver, and The SOMM Journal Award of Excellence – for an exceptional few – were awarded as follows:
